Annual visit of class 8 to the career information center of the employment agency in Recklinghausen.

Youth vocational

help

The AWO's youth career support service offers students from grade 9 onwards the opportunity to deepen their career orientation in a small group and to get to know their own strengths.

Individual and personal support from volunteers who work with the students beyond their everyday school life and develop their professional future.

Trips to DASA

Grades 8 and 9 (including LZP) have the option to take part in the DASA offerings in Dortmund every year.

Long-term internship class (LZP)

For students in the 10th year of school who can achieve the first school leaving certificate at the KHS. You will spend two days on an internship and three days at school. You can work your way to an apprenticeship in the company.

A visit by the training ambassadors of the Chamber of Crafts gives the young people in grades 9 and 10 realistic impressions of an apprenticeship on an equal footing.

Baubus Basic

Every three years, the BauBus Basic of the Construction Industry Association visits the KHS and sets up various stations for students in grades 8-10 relating to careers in the construction industry.
