Catholic Secondary School Marl
In keeping with Girls Day, the company Sec-Com invited a total of 14 students from the Catholic Secondary School to its headquarters in Recklinghausen on April 28, 2022.
At 9:00 a.m. the group was welcomed by the Sec-Com team in a conference room with an extensive breakfast buffet. Led by a presentation and a subsequent video conference with the managing director Mr. Otterbein, the students were given their first insight into the company's structures and technologies.

"We want to give schoolgirls an insight into the various areas of security and communications technology in our company. Our goal is to convince and attract more women to work in this industry."
How do you deal with insults seriously and how do you acquire new customers over the phone?
How does a telephone system work and which security systems are installed
the company Sec-Com with its customers?
In each of the individual groups, 3 to 4 students were not only able to gain insights into these exciting career fields, but were even able to experience them first hand.
In order to be able to deal more intensively with the individual work areas, the students were divided into 4 groups, which were distributed across the stations “Service Center/Sales”, “Communications Technology”, “Video Surveillance” and “Access Technology”.
The students clearly had fun and were able to gain exciting professional insights, which would probably not have been possible without the commitment of the company Sec-Com.
We would like to thank the whole team again for the great organization of this successful Girls Day at Sec-Com and look forward to further cooperation.
