On August 18, 2023, all three 7th grade classes set out to visit the climbing park in Haltern am See in the best summer weather. After a short introduction by the very friendly and, above all, knowledgeable staff on site, the brave students from the Catholic secondary school in Marl headed into the trees.

On various climbing routes with varying levels of difficulty and obstacles, the students were able to gain experience at heights and test their individual limits alone or in small groups.

After the joint return journey by bus and train, all the children arrived back at the school grounds around 2 p.m., exhausted but happy, to start their journey home.
