Street child for a day

How does it feel to be a street child? The students of class 5a at the Catholic secondary school wanted to have this experience.

On Wednesday, November 20th, Children's Rights Day, the Catholic Secondary School once again took part in the Germany-wide action day of terres des hommes "Street Child for a Day". For this, the fifth-graders were out and about with various activities in the Marler Stern.

The students did work that street children usually have to do to earn a living. They cleaned shoes and collected donations for homemade Christmas items.

They want to donate the proceeds of €668.94 to “real” street children. Class 5a can be proud of themselves!
